New scholarship promotes infection control education, certification

Deadline is April 1

The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention, the Dental Assisting National Board and the DALE Foundation launched the new OSAP-DANB-DALE Foundation Andrew Whitehead Education and Certification Scholarship in an effort to promote infection control education and certification.

The scholarship is open to all dental professionals with at least 1,040 hours of work experience.

Scholarship recipients will receive access to educational materials and have the certification exam fees covered to become Certified in Dental Infection Prevention and Control or Dental Industry Specialist in Infection Prevention and Control-certified.

Applications, available at danb-dale.scholarshipsplatform.com, will be accepted through April 1, and winners will be selected by June 1.
