ADA Standards Committee on Dental Informatics to host in-person meetings before SmileCon
The American Dental Association Standards Committee on Dental Informatics will return to in-person meetings Oct. 8-10 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, ahead of SmileCon, the ADA's reimagined annual meeting.
The committee meetings will kick off at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 8 with an opening plenary session. Working groups will meet throughout Oct. 8 and 9. A plenary session will then take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon Oct. 10.
ADA standards committee meetings provide a forum for the working groups to meet to exchange ideas and plan new and revised standards to ensure product safety and efficacy now and to provide useful, objective information on new and emerging technologies for the future.
Although there is no charge, registration is required to attend any of the committee meetings. Discounted hotel reservations are available.

There are currently more than 100 national standards, and more are under development.
